In addition to the 1948 King George VI Definitive Issue an additional stamp – The 10 Rupees Blue – was issued on the 4th of July 1949.

The 75th Anniversary of Universal Postal Union - Lake Error - 1949
An error exists on the 2 ½ Annas stamp in the form of the "Indian Lake" being a white dot in the map placed in the middle of India. Its position is Row 8/2 and it is estimated that approximately 780 copies exist. The flaw was later retouched in the basic GB stamps but none of the Gulf overprints have been found on stamps in retouched state.

The set was issued to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Postal Union. It comprises of 4 stamps with the following values: 2½ Annas - 3 Annas - 6 Annas and 1 Rupee.
King George VI Definitive Issue - 1950
The second definitive set issued by the British Postal Agency in Kuwait. It comprises of 9 stamps and was issued on the 3rd of May 1951 with the exception of the 4 Annas stamp, which was issued on the 2nd October 1950. The values issued were: ½ Anna – 1 Anna – 1 ½ Anna – 2 Annas – 2 ½ Annas – 4 Annas – 2 Rupees – 5 Rupees and 10 Rupees.
King George VI Definitive Issue - 1951
The second definitive set issued by the British Postal Agency in Kuwait. It comprises of 9 stamps and was issued on the 3rd of May 1951 with the exception of the 4 Annas stamp, which was issued on the 2nd October 1950. The values issued were: ½ Anna – 1 Anna – 1 ½ Anna – 2 Annas – 2 ½ Annas – 4 Annas – 2 Rupees – 5 Rupees and 10 Rupees.
The first variety being a 'thin extra bar below lower bar' found in Row 6/1 variety. This variety is quite scarce indicating that it is not constant.
The second variety being the presence of a 'thin extra bar at top, above upper bar'. The position not known indicating that the variety is not constant.

King George VI Definitive Issue - 5 Rupees Extra Bar Error - 1951
The 5 Rupees Festival error in the form of the extra thin bar found above the normal two bars. The error is found at Row 2/2 but is not a constant. The cause of the error is probably due to the printer’s spacing bars working loose during the printing.
King George VI Definitive Issue – 1952 – 2 Rupees Type II
The 2 Rupees stamp was issued in three different types with Type II being printed in April 1952 and again in November 1954. It was plate printed and is characterized by BAHRAIN in worn lettering – The 2 is raised above RUPEES – The length of the BAHRAIN overprint is 21.6 mm and the lines of the overprint are 15 mm apart.

King George VI Definitive Issue – 1952 – 10 Rupees Type II
The 10 Rupees stamp is found in the different types: Type II is plate printed with the lettering being heavy and worn – in particular the letters “A”, “R” and “P”. “1” and “0” is less that 1 mm apart and the lines of the overprint are 9 mm apart. The printing was done in 1952 with 8000 stamps being printed with some of these most likely being Type III.
