In 1935 the 6as value was issued as part of the 1932-1936 KGV set of definitive stamps. The stamp is recorded on paper with inverted watermark.
The 1935 Silver Jubilee issue
In 1935 India issued a set of stamps commemoration the Silver Jubilee of King George V. In total seven stamps were issued with the values of ½a, 9 pies, 1a, 1¼as, 2½as, 3½as and 8as. While the normal watermark shows the stars pointing to the right when seen from the back of the stamp, all the values have also been recorded with the stars pointing left.

The 1935 Silver Jubilee issue – Bird Flaw
Only one variety has been recorded from the Silver Jubilee issue being on the 3½as value being a “Bird Flaw” found between the palm tree and building. The flaw is found in row 9/3.

In 1936 the 2as (small die) value was issued as part of the 1932-1936 KGV set of definitive stamps. The stamp is recorded on paper with inverted watermark.

The 2nd King George V Definitive Issue – 1937
The final three additions to the set were added in 1937. They were the following values: 6 Annas, 5 Rupees and 15 Rupees. The exact issue date is unknown of all three values.
The 1937 King George VI Issue – 23 August
With the death of King George V on 20 January 1936, the crowning and abdication of King Edward VIII and the subsequent crowning of King George VI a new set of definitive stamps was issued. The stamps were released on two dates in 1937 being 23 August and 15 December. Two stamps were issued on 23 August being the 9 pies and 1a value. All the stamps are known with inverted watermark.
