With a total of 21,703 stamps sold and sheets being of 20 stamps there should be 1085 stamps with this error.

BPAEA used in Bahrain: The Olympic Games - 1948 The set of "Value Only" overprints was issued to commemorate the 1948 Olympic Games, and while they were meant for use at Dubai and Muscat Post Office, they were also valid for use at all British post offices in the Gulf.

The Olympic Games - 1948 - Crown Flaw Variety The CROWN FLAW is only found on the overprints done for the British Postal Agencies of Eastern Arabia. It is constant within the sheet and is found in Row 20/2. It is seen on the lower left side of the crown as a "white patch".

The Olympic Games - 1948 - Double Overprint The Double Overprint error is part of the set issued to commemorate the 1948 Olympic Games, which took place in London. The error is found in the form of a double surcharge, where the two impressions, though not superimposed, are close together. Only one sheet of 120 exists and the sheet (No 21164) was sold in London, which is why there are no used copies known.

The Olympic Games - Double Overprint - 1948 A major error exists on the 2½ Annas on 2½ Pence overprint in the form of a double overprint. Only one sheet of 120 exists (Sheet no. 31430) of which there are 15 known used examples. 13 of these, including a block of 4, were postmarked at Muharraq Post Office with the experimental P.O. K-121. There were originally two blocks of 4, both with the same cancellation, but one was subsequently broken up. Furthermore there is one on cover from F.P.O. 756 (Shaibah) cancelled 25th October 1948 and one cancelled to order at Bahrain 10th October 1949. The sheet was found at Muharraq Post Office and once the error was discover the upper half of the sheet, including a few mint copies of the lower half, was sent to the London philatelic market. The error results in 2 impressions of the overprint and surcharge appearing on the stamp – one in lower left-hand corner and one in upper left-hand corner. The overcharge in the upper left-hand corner can be partially on the adjoining stamp.
