The second King George VI definitive set was launched in 1942 with a total of 13 values issued between 1942 and 1945. The values were: 3 Pies – ½ Anna – 9 Pies – 1 Anna – 1 Anna 3 Pies – 1 ½ Anna – 2 Annas – 3 Annas – 3 ½ Annas – 4 Annas – 6 Annas – 8 Annas and 12 Annas. The set was the last set issued with Bahrain overprinted on Indian stamps.

The 1940-1943 King George VI Issue – 1943 - Typo
Two version of the 1½ Anna value were issued - a litho version issued on 20 May 1942 and a typo version issued in 1943. The typo version is illustrated here.

The set of stamps were issued on nine different dates and all the stamps are known with inverted overprint. The values issued were: 3 pies, ½a, 9 pies, 1a, 1a 3 pies (litho), 1½as (both litho and typo), 2as, 3as (both litho and typo), 3½as, 4as, 6as, 8as, 12as and 14as.

India used in Dubai - 1940-1943 King George VI Issue. From the opening of the Post Office in Dubai on the 19th of August 1909 and until the introduction of the Pakistani Administration in October 1947 Indian stamps were used on mail from Dubai.

The Service set was issued to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Al Bu Sa'id Dynasty and were the first stamps issued by Oman. It comprises of 10 stamps with the following values: 3 Pies – ½ Anna - 9 Pies - 1 Anna – 1½ Anna - 2 Annas – 2½ Annas - 4 Annas – 8 Annas and 1 Rupee.

The set was issued to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Al Bu Sa'id Dynasty and were the first stamps issued by Oman. It comprises of 15 stamps with the following values: 3 Pies - ½ Anna - 9 Pies - 1 Anna - 1 ½ Anna - 2 Annas - 3 Annas - 3 ½ Annas - 4 Annas - 6 Annas - 8 Annas - 12 Annas - 14 Annas - 1 Rupee and 2 Rupees.
Al Bu-Sa'id Dynasty Bicentenary – 1944 – Pearl Flaw
A number of pearl flaws exist on the printing of the 2 Rupee stamp. The flaws have been created by dirt on the printing plate and are found in the ring of pearls around the "2 Rs".

The final Indian issue to be overprinted with “KUWAIT” was issued in 1945 and was overprinted on the 1940-1943 Indian King George VI issue. The values issued were 3 Pies, ½ Anna, 9 Pies, 1 Anna, 1 ½ Anna, 2 Annas, 3 Annas, 3 ½ Annas, 4 Annas, 6 Annas, 8 Annas, 12 Annas and 14 Annas.
